Pastors are commanded to preach the Word. The Sunday morning sermon is one of the most important times in the life of our church family.

Adult Sunday School:
Jesus Christ Concealed - An Overview of the Old Testament Most Christians today are not familiar with the Old Testament. Many cannot even name the books or explain the major themes. And yet the Old Testament makes up over two thirds of our English Scriptures. Our goal in this study is to become familiar with the teachings of the Old Testament so that we can properly understand the New. First, we will give an overview of each book of the Bible, one book each week. Then we will go back through and study the most important chapters, before making a third trip through the Old Testament to take a verse-by-verse look at the most important passages of the Old Testament. We will eventually conclude our study with a look at the important characters, both heroes and villains, of the Old Testament. But throughout our sojourn in the Old Testament, our goal will be to see the coming Christ, as our Savior and Lord, Jesus.
| Sunday Morning Service:
This letter teaches us that those who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior are no longer under the law. We are saved sola fide, by faith alone. Galatians is the Christian Declaration of Independence. Paul addresses a group of churches who are willing to give up the priceless liberty they have in Jesus. The oppressive theology of certain Jewish legalists has been causing the believers in Galatia to trade in their freedom in Messiah for slavery to the law. Paul writes this forceful letter to do away with the false gospel of works and demonstrate the superiority of justification by faith alone. This carefully written argument approaches the problem from three directions: the Gospel of grace defended (1 and 2), the Gospel of grace explained (3 and 4), and the Gospel of grace applied (5 and 6).

Sunday Evening: A series on the Book of John An informal teaching time of discussions, questions, and answers from the book of John
As we study the Gospel of John we are standing on holy ground. This book is simple enough for a child to wade in, but deep enough for the scholar and the most seasoned saint to swim in. It is not possible to plumb the depths, but our desire is to see Jesus the Son of God.
Please join us for these studies with the heart and mind of a worshiper. John did not simply write a book; he painted exciting pictures. We are not simply studying a book, we are seeking to know our Savior, to behold His glory, the glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(John 1:14)
